The purpose of the SEP/PGC is to create and maintain a safe environment for all of God’s children. All clergy and religious, all employees, and those adult and youth volunteers who work with or near children must be compliant with the Archdiocese’s Safe Environment Program.

Compliance for adults (18 and over) includes:

1. Attending a PGC workshop
2. Completing a national criminal background screening

3. Viewing two online training modules
4. Reading and signing the Code of Ethical Conduct

Compliance for youth volunteers (under the age of 18) includes:

Reading and signing (with a parent) a Code of Ethical Conduct for Minors
